Economic Stimulus Party
The day after this party, you will have a free $500 in your pocket!
As you may or may not know, the government has this idea to send most of us $600 for free to stimulate our economy. You may have already received a direct deposit from the IRS; if not, your check should be in the mail shortly.
Reading about how we are supposed to spend the money to stimulate economic growth got us thinking: "If each person in America buys an iPhone, is that really going to help?", "How can some of this money go to good stuff, while still allowing me to blow most of it on Doritos, booze and iTunes?"
Thus the Economic Stimulus Party of 2008 was born!
So, what's the Economic Stimulus Party? For a donation of $100, you get to shake it with some like-minded individuals at an all you can drink booze fest and help support an awesome organization in your community. Some of the money will go toward a celebration of all you wonderful people, but most of the money will will be donated to a great charity, Hunter's Point Family.
The spirit of the package is still being fulfilled, the money is immediately going back into the economy, it is just being invested into areas where it can have a substantial positive impact.
