Q) Who is the "we" that is referred to on this site?
A) Currently, this bad-news-bears of the community-activist league is comprised of Mark Shervey and Noah Zimmerman.
Q) Are you guys serious, or is this like that time you tried urban fishing off Shervey's roofdeck?
A) Yes, this is for real. And we still think urban fishing could work too, we just had the wrong lure.
Q) Can I help?
A) Yeah. We've been lucky to have a lot of interest in getting help on this so far and we're sure there will be more to do. Send us an e-mail and we'll get in touch with you. The greatest help at this point would be identifying potential sponsor/donor organizations.
Q) How does one qualify for this free money?
A) It all comes down to your 2007 taxable income and whether you have a Social Security Number. First: a valid SSN is required, those with only an ITIN are not eligible. Second: if in 2007, you were taxed on between $3,000 and $75,000, you most likely get the full $600. If you were taxed on any more than that, you will still receive a portion of the package, but it tapers off to $0 at around $85,000.

A) Check here to see when you'll be getting your cheddar.

A) Do nothing more than file a 2007 tax return. Seriously.

A) No, probably not. Contact us through the information below. It would be great to hear from people doing the same thing. We're doing this in San Francisco, but it would be great to hear what people are doing in other cities.

A) Not a question. The website has been a great way to communicate with everyone. We've been contacted by many people who had just stumbled across the site. We could possibly share the domain (something like sf.economicstimulusparty.org, seattle.economicstimulusparty.org, etc). Not sure how much work it is, but if you're interested we can look into it.
